The Brands page allows you to view, manage and add brands on Seller Portal. To access the page on VTEX Admin, go to Catalog > Brands.

To create a new brand, click on the Create brand button. Fill in the fields on the New brand modal according to the information below.

First, you must set your brand as Active or Inactive . An active brand will be displayed in the store and can have products associated with it. You can activate and deactivate a brand at any time.

Next, you must fill in basic information about the brand you want to create.

• Name: The name of the brand. This is a required field.

In this section, the fields influence how the brand will rank in search engines such as Google, Bing, etc.

• Page title: This will be the title that users will see when accessing the page.
• Meta description: This space is reserved for a summary, of up to 160 characters, of the main items that will be on the page.

Use this section to fill out information relevant to your store's menu and navigation.

• Show on menu: button to enable or disable the display of the category in the store.

You can find a brand using the search tool. Just click on the Search Brands text box and search for the desired brand name.

You can edit, activate or deactivate a brand by simply searching for it and clicking on the tool. Then, select one of the options below.

• Edit: menu for changing the fields of your brand.
• Activate: option that will activate your brand.
• Deactivate: option that will deactivate your brand.
