B2B trade policies overview
Associating a trade policy with the organization is key to a B2B operation. It allows you to apply specific rules on prices, discounts, and payment conditions, providing customized management of commercial relationships.
The main objective of trade policies in B2B is to ensure that all transactions follow the trade policies the company has set, providing a consistent shopping experience aligned with business strategies. This includes:
- Setting specific prices for products or groups of products, adapting them for different customers or market segments.
- Configuring custom conditions, deadlines, and payment methods.
- Implementing specific rules for calculating shipping costs and applying taxes based on the customer's location and profile.
Implementing and managing these policies is important to ensure an efficient B2B operation aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
