Tutorial valid only for Legacy CMS Stores.

To delete a CMS folder, follow the steps below:

1. In the VTEX Admin, access Storefront > Layout > CMS.
2. Click on the CMS folder and then on Sites and Channels.
3. Click the website that contains the folder you want to delete and then click the root folder (/).
4. In the line corresponding to the folder you want to delete, click delete.

Some folders are required. Your store will not function properly without them. Others are important, so it's not a good idea to delete them.

If a folder contains other folders, you must delete all internal folders before deleting the more external one. Otherwise, the system will return the error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object", as in the image below.

For example, if you want to delete folder A, and within it are folders A1 and A2, first delete folders A1 and A2, and then delete folder A.
