Why the List Price does not appear on my store's front end?

In some circumstances, the List Price may not appear in the front-end of the store. This happens due to configuration errors of the Pricing.

The Price List is just one of the possible configurations when setting the price of a SKU. Generally, the first rules to be defined are the Base Price, the Cost Price and the Markup.

What happens is that after setting the price for an SKU, this setting is superimposed on the previously set price modification rules. In other words, the list price or default price is "deleted" once the retailer applies a fixed price to an SKU.

To display the List Price on the store's front-end once more, the fixed price setting will need to be removed.

This step-by-step will guide you to that end:

  1. Access the Products module
  2. Click on Prices
  3. Click on Price List
  4. Search for the product you wish to configure by Name, Id or SKU

Once the product is shown is the search results, just click on any of the cards indicating the price and markup of the item in question.

Thereafter, a tab showing some price details will appear on the left side of the screen.

Continue with the process:

  1. Access the fixed prices session
  2. Delete the fixed price(s)
  3. Save the settings by clicking on Enter

Done! Your SKU will be once again displayed on your store page.
