Inserting images into "Let Me Know" email
1 min read

On VTEX platform, the retailer can set up several email templates. One of them is "Let Me Know" - a great opportunity to fulfill purchases that could be considered "lost."

But what is this email about? In some cases, the customer may find that a product is currently unavailable. To work around this situation, the store can activate a "Let Me Know" email automation.

Once the item comes back to inventory, the system may send an alert to the consumer telling them the item is now available. That is, you may remind the customer that the purchase has not been completed.

One of the setting options for this template is, for example, to insert images in the body of the email.

Here's how to do so:

  1. In the VTEX Admin, go to Store Settings, or type Store Settings in the search bar at the top of the page.
  2. Click Templates.
  3. Type the term Let me know in the search.
  4. Choose the template Let me know.
  5. Go to the HTML box.
  6. Enter the code of the images you want to insert.

{"base64":"  ","img":{"width":1924,"height":1632,"type":"jpg","mime":"image/jpeg","wUnits":"px","hUnits":"px","length":264259,"url":"https://raw.githubusercontent.com/vtexdocs/help-center-content/refs/heads/main/docs/en/tutorials/catalog/products-and-skus/inserting-images-into-let-me-know-email_1.jpg"}}

  1. Click Save.

Once saved, the setting will be valid for the next emails.
