How to create an application in Master Data
An application is a grouping of forms that organizes, divides, and establishes refined access by topic in Master Data. When you create an application, you can include several forms within it, making it easier to organize data as needed. For example, in the Support application, you can have Customer and Ticket forms.
Creating applications
Follow the instructions below to create a new application:
- In the VTEX Admin, go to Store Settings > Storefront > Master Data.
- Click the
Create applications
button. - Enter the Name of the application.
- Select an option on the Create copy of field if you want to copy the forms from another application.
- Click the
Save
button.
Editing applications
Follow the instructions below to edit an application:
- In the VTEX Admin, go to Store Settings > Storefront > Master Data.
- In the desired application, click the gear icon .
- Edit the application.
- Click
Save
.
Deleting applications
Follow the instructions below to delete an application:
- In the VTEX Admin, go to Store Settings > Storefront > Master Data.
- In the desired application, click the gear icon .
- Click Applications.
- In the row of the application you want to delete, click the delete button ⛔.
- Click
OK
