With this feature, buyers only see products they can purchase during browsing, based on available inventory and valid [delivery options](/en/docs/tutorials/delivery-options) for their address.\n\nPreviously, activation required a Support request. Now, you can activate the feature directly in the VTEX Admin through a guided process.\n\n## What has changed?\n\nWith the general availability of Delivery Promise:\n\n- **Activation via the VTEX Admin:** The new **Delivery Promise** page automatically checks if your account is compatible and guides you through the activation steps.\n- **Test before publishing:** You can activate test mode and configure store components without affecting your live store.\n- **Production publishing via the Admin:** After configuring your store, you publish Delivery Promise for shoppers of the selected sales channels.\n\nThe shopping experience benefits remain the same:\n\n- Displaying only the products that can be delivered to the buyer's address.\n- Filters by shipping and pickup options, delivery times (such as same-day or next-day delivery), and nearby pickup points.\n- Greater visibility into the catalog of sellers that meet the buyer's delivery criteria.\n- Increased visibility of physical stores to buyers through pickup filters at nearby pickup points.\n\n## What needs to be done?\n\nTo use Delivery Promise, your account must fulfill the [feature requirements](/en/docs/tutorials/delivery-promise#requirements), including the use of Intelligent Search. If the account is eligible, you can use Delivery Promise at no additional cost.\n\nTo enable the feature, follow the instructions in the [Activating Delivery Promise](/en/docs/tutorials/activate-delivery-promise) guide. You can activate Delivery Promise through a guided process in the VTEX Admin under **Storefront > Delivery Promise**, following these steps:\n\n1. **Activate test mode:** Select the sales channels where Delivery Promise will be used and confirm the Terms of Use. Test mode doesn't affect the production store.\n2. **(Optional) Review delivery options:** Choose which options will be displayed as filters for shoppers in the store.\n3. **Configure store:** Implement or configure the Delivery Promise components for your store technology.\n4. **Publish to production:** Publish the store version with your changes and activate Delivery Promise for buyers.\n\n> ⚠️ The configuration and publishing steps require access to your store's code. Only users with the Super Admin role in the account can publish Delivery Promise to production.\n\n## Learn more\n\n- [Delivery Promise](/en/docs/tutorials/delivery-promise)\n- [Activating Delivery Promise](/en/docs/tutorials/activate-delivery-promise)\n- [Delivery Promise: FAQ](/en/docs/tutorials/delivery-promise-faq)\n- [Setting up Delivery Promise components (Beta)](https://developers.vtex.com/docs/guides/setting-up-delivery-promise-components)\n- [Delivery Promise for FastStore](https://developers.vtex.com/docs/guides/faststore/features-delivery-promise)\n- [Delivery Promise for headless stores (Beta)](https://developers.vtex.com/docs/guides/delivery-promise-for-headless-stores)"}
